It will probably not have escaped the attention of film buffs, Made by Max is a nod to the film Mad Max made by a mechanics enthusiast. Max Lauret, the winemaker and owner of the Domaine de Bayet, is not only at ease with vines and puns, but he is also a man of unfailing kindness. He is not only a talented and passionate winemaker, but he also provides support and assistance in every bad situation the Domaine la Clausade team is exposed to. A true partner, he helps to repair the farm equipment, warns by phone on the eve of frosty days, lends tools, and gives advice. A winegrower by birth and passionate at heart, particularly respectful of the heritage of his elders, he carries his title of “Godfather of La Clausade” to perfection.
